A luxury retreat close to Cheltenham racecourse

Located in the scenic Stroud Valley, a short distance from Cheltenham Racecourse, Little Court offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and contemporary comfort. Designed to reflect classic Cotswolds character with a modern twist, this carefully curated retreat provides a high-end yet welcoming escape for visitors heading to the races.

The interiors of Little Court celebrate sustainability and craftsmanship, with bespoke furniture, natural materials, and a calming palette of soft, earthy tones. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered to honour the historic essence of the building while creating a refined and restful space for guests.

Designed for comfort and sustainability

Little Court’s revamp has been led by local design firm Squid Inc, ensuring the 19th-century building retains its character while offering all the modern comforts today’s travellers expect. From FSC-certified wood to handcrafted wicker pieces by Lloyd Loom and energy-efficient LED lighting from Pooky Lights, sustainability has been woven into every element of the redesign.

The space has also been designed with flexibility in mind, allowing guests to book individual rooms or larger suites with adjoining spaces, making it ideal for groups, families, or those looking for exclusive use. Whether you’re attending the Cheltenham Races or simply seeking a charming countryside escape, Little Court offers a setting that is as stylish as it is comfortable.

Heritage meets contemporary elegance

The transformation of Little Court extends beyond its interiors. Outside, the historic coach pathway has been carefully restored, with bat-friendly lighting by Landmark Lighting and expert landscaping by award-winning designer Thomas Hoblyn. The grounds seamlessly connect Little Court to the Manor House, blending uniform planting with natural greenery to enhance the estate’s heritage.

Local artistry also plays a key role in the project. Celebrated artist Ruth Hickson has created exclusive illustrated guides for guests, mapping out the history of the estate and the stunning Stroud Valley surroundings.

Secure your stay for Cheltenham Races

With its perfect location near Cheltenham racecourse and its combination of heritage, luxury, and sustainability, Little Court is set to become a sought-after stay for visitors heading to the races.
