A 30-minute drive from Stonehouse Court Hotel, you’ll find the enchanting markets of Cheltenham.
The town will be switching on their Christmas lights on the 16th November, illuminating the streets through ‘til the big day.
Also taking place on the 16th November, until the 19th, is the local craft festival. Here, local small businesses will gather to showcase their goods — making for perfect gifts!
This will be followed by a traditional arts and crafts market, from the 14th to the 23rd December, along the picturesque promenade.
The weekend winter markets are also returning to Gloucester Quays throughout November and December, taking place on Saturdays and Sundays. From the 4th November until the 17th December, you can explore a range of handcrafted gifts, delicious street food and pop-up bars.
Enchanting Lights
Embrace the magic of Christmas with a visit to Westonbirt Arboretum light trail.
Immerse yourself in the thrilling winter wonderland display, filled with twinkling lights and festive sounds to get you ready for Christmas.
The captivating experience includes illuminated trees and mesmerising installations for you and the family to enjoy.
The light trail is available from 4pm until 9:30pm. During your visit, you can enjoy the cheerful seasonal Christmas Village, which will be brimming with delicious food and drinks stalls, alongside a host of fairground rides!

There are slots still available on Sunday 26th November, where you can create your own wreath under the guidance of our favourite local florist.

Priced at just £59 per person, this event is running from 12pm until 3pm.

From Saturday 2nd December to Saturday 23rd December, why not take your little ones to meet Father Christmas in his North Pole Grotto at the Cattle Country Farm Park?
Open from 10am until 6pm, your trip will include a range of festive activities — and a present from the man in red himself!
Decorate gingerbread houses and listen to Christmas storytime after some festive face painting.
Your little ones will even have the chance to write their own Christmas list, and will receive ‘make-your-own’ magical reindeer food in time for Christmas Eve.
