Meet Mark | Our new Breakfast Chef and kickstart your day with a locally sourced feast

We’re delighted to introduce Mark Vaughan, our talented new breakfast chef here at Stonehouse Court! 

With years of experience, including his time as Head Chef at Calcot Manor in Tetbury, Mark is bringing his passion for local, sustainable dining to our new farmhouse-inspired continental breakfast. Using the finest locally sourced ingredients - from freshly baked artisan breads and pastries to cheeses, meats, jams and honey - Mark is here to ensure your Cotswolds breakfast buffet is a delicious, authentic, and eco-conscious experience.

About Mark

Mark is passionate about making a positive impact, saying, “I’m really excited to be part of the Stonehouse Court team. It’s a great opportunity to work with local suppliers and showcase the incredible produce the Cotswolds has to offer. By sourcing locally, we not only reduce our environmental impact but also create a more authentic and sustainable breakfast experience for our guests.” 

Mark also shared that the best part of his job is working with a great team who truly care about what matters, creating a warm, friendly environment. He describes Stonehouse Court as a “calm, friendly environment to work in,” where everyone shares a passion for creating something special.

When he’s not crafting delicious breakfasts, Mark loves to get out into the great outdoors. Whether it’s walking through the beautiful Cotswold countryside or cycling along scenic trails, he enjoys staying active and embracing the outdoors in his free time.

Some of our ingredients are making the short trip from just down the road at Frocester Fayre, a local farm shop, just over 4 miles away from the hotel. By keeping it close to home, we’re reducing food miles and supporting small businesses in the community.
